For those of you here for the first time who don't know about Untamed, here's the write-up of this fabulously FREE book:

Rich, beautiful, and wild, Reagan McKinley has everything she needs...but nothing that she wants. That is, until she spends one hot night in the arms of sexy, unbridled Dare Wilde.

She's a girl trapped in a rigid world she desperately wants to escape, and he's an untamed artist with an attitude, hell-bent on freeing herbody, mind, and soul. But Reagan's life is not her own, and Dare is not welcome in it. She can't include him in her carefully-controlled, extremely public lifestyle...and yet she cannot give him up.

Will a shared passion for art—and, increasingly, each other—be enough to keep them together? Or will it be the thing that ultimately tears them apart?

"This novella just blew me out of the water. Not only is the book sexy perfection and filled with drama, but the concept of the overall series is just so intriguing." -- Jena Freeth, Shortie Says

Some FAQs

We have received some great questions regarding the series and its unique structure, so here is a little information for those of you who are interested.

How are the episodes structured (length, style, etc.)?

Jinsey and I thought long and hard about the best format and presentation for UNTAMED. Since the story spans over a long period of time and involves much character development and growth, we decided that a series of five 150+ page episodes would best tell Ree and Dare's tale. Our episodes are on the longer side of the typical serial format as we want to present our readers with a full, complete episode in every read. Each novella is NOT written as a culmination of chapters that make up one large book. Instead, every part is like one episode of a TV show with a clear beginning, a climatic middle, and an end which provides a resolution the the episode's story arc.

Do they end on a cliffhanger?

Yes. They usually end on a cliffhanger that make you want to scream, then strangle us. (That's a direct quote from at least ten threatening emails.) However, we structure the story in such a way that you have a full, complete end to the episode and then a little BAM! - which is very similar to the way many TV shows end on "to be continued/stay tuned for next week" cliffhanger.

We aren't out to torture anyone. However, due to the fact that we both have backgrounds in film/television, we are huge fans of this format as it allows us to tell a larger and more in-depth story than we could ever achieve in a single book or even a full trilogy.

So...sit back, relax, and let Dare paint you. Wait, no. Let me try that again: Sit back, relax, and imagine you're "watching" a TV miniseries. A very sexy, fun one.

Is episode five the end to Ree and Dare's story?

I assumed readers were asking this because they wanted to be sure it was going to be over for real and we wouldn't spring some surprise TBC on them. Lately, though, I've been getting messages from people who are begging for it not to end since they don't want to say goodbye to beloved characters.

But...yes. Episode Five will be the series finale that will have a satisfying conclusion for all readers. We will NOT leave you hanging in any way. We initially thought that Ree and Dare's story would take seven episodes, however, after more detailed plotting, we've realized that we can tell an even juicer and better story in five. We aren't out to prolong the torture and create false drama, so we will be ending in five episodes. Like a miniseries of sorts.

Ree and Dare's story will be wrapped up into a neat, little package (or, rather, BIG package, hehe!) and tied with a satin bow. However, you will be able to see some more of them in Dash, Dalia, and Dax's series (only as fan-service guest characters, not to add drama, further the plot, or open up any old wounds - there is plenty of heartbreak in the Untamed episodes that we really don't want to drive the readers crazy!)

Will you be bundling together the episodes in an omnibus?

We are very sensitive to the fact that some people prefer to marathon their reads. We’ve said this from the start—we will be bundling the episodes together once all five are out. Readers who wish to commit to 200 000+ words at once will be very welcome to do so!

We are so thrilled to receive lovely emails and messages from readers who are championing Ree and Dare. It's touching to see that so many of you understand that they aren't perfect and that while their love may be a struggle, it is a struggle that's so very worth it! Keep the questions coming! <3

Thank you and happy reading!
